The event was graced by Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa, Chief of Damdami Taksal, as the Chief Guest. A special delegation from the United Arab Emirates also attended the ceremony, led by Dr. Mohammed Ali Hattawi, renowned economic expert and Director of the Office of His Highness Sheikh.
S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, attended as a prominent political VIP guest. Other distinguished Guests of Honour included Giani Harpreet Singh, former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib; Mr. Gurinder Singh Bhatti; Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema of the Shiromani Akali Dal; MLA Jarnail Singh from Delhi; MLA Pargat Singh from Jalandhar Cantt; and Dr. Pardeep Baba Madhok.
During the award ceremony, outstanding personalities from diverse sectors were honoured for their remarkable achievements and contributions to society. The awardees represented the fields of entertainment, healthcare, business, journalism, information technology, sports, social service and public administration.
Prominent award recipients included Dr. Varinder Singh Bhullar, Mr. Navdeep Singh Bhatti, S. Amardeep Singh Gill, Kul Sidhu, Sonia Mann, Dhadi Bibi Daler Kaur Khalsa, Virasat Sandhu, Maahi Sharma, Lachman Singh Maluka IAS, Kartar Singh Pehalwan, hockey player Harjeet Singh, Indian women’s hockey player Gurjit Kaur, Dr. Dinesh Auluck, Dr. Ramandeep Kaur and Dr. Parampreet Singh, along with many other accomplished individuals.
The Global Punjab Conclave was another major highlight of the event. Thought-provoking panel discussions were conducted on various social, political, educational, economic, agricultural and developmental issues concerning Punjab. Experts and public representatives shared their views on the challenges facing the state and discussed possible solutions for building a progressive and prosperous Punjab.
